How to make the most out of your mornings:
Mornings have a magical sense of sanity and peace wrapped in
it which provides with immense motivation and inspiration to give you best.
I have always believed in the statement, “In order to get different
results, you need to act differently”.
From quite a long time I was trying to excel my work and get
more done in a day as I was quite stagnant with the amount of work I was
getting done on a regular basis.
Especially, when you are working towards building your own
brand, your own business, it’s important to push yourself a little extra every now
and then.
In this post we will be talking about that little extra push
that mornings will provide you along with effective work and good results:
1.
Get up with the sun: It is very important
to get up at a considerably early hour in the morning to get the best and most out
of it.
Try waking
up around the time sun rises up even when you don’t have to leave the house for
work. You can totally enjoy your sleep in days on weekends though!
In order to make the most out of your mornings
and be productive you need to be align your thoughts with your body which is
best done in the peaceful and quite hours offered by the early mornings.
2.
Have a routine: Getting up early and not
having a regime to follow can often lead you to fall asleep again.
Your body and brain both takes time to get
into senses after you have waken up. To give that time to your body and not
fall asleep again, start doing your morning routine.
Your routine can include easy, mindless
tasks such as having a warm glass of water, brushing your teeth, washing your face,
getting your mat ready for yoga or meditation, changing into your workout clothes
etc.
3.
Make a plan: Once you are done doing your
morning routine, hop on to make a plan, a physical plan, using a pen and a
paper.
Making a plan helps you to get clear about
the tasks to be done and helps you to
make a vision for the day.
Once you are done planning out the day, make
a list of things that needs to be done on that particular day and mark out
three MIT’s i.e. Most Important Tasks.
Marking out MIT’s helps you to not waste
time on things that are not that important or can be performed later on.
4.
Get a workout in: Getting a good workout
in the morning sets a tone for the day and helps you to focus and be efficient
in your work hours.
5.
Get your first task done: Getting your
first task done once you are completed with your morning ritual is the best
thing ever.
In order to be productive, you need to take
action and in order to take action you need to start doing things.
Getting first task done in the morning and
that too in the early hours gives you enough motivation to sail through the day
in a productive manner.
